Le Document — Issue Sixteen

Le Document — Issue Sixteen

It’s April and Spring has now sprung. If someone asked you to name a flower that represented the month of April the chances are you’d opt for either the Sweet Pea or the Daisy.

When you look at the two men who edit Le Document you see Harry Pye (a.k.a. “The Sweet P”) a man who, like the sweet pea, signifies bliss and pleasure. And Chris “Daisy” Tosic — For many, both the daisy and Chris represent loyalty, purity and childhood innocence.

This month’s issue is jam packed with not only innocence and bliss but also; interviews with special musicians, features on tea towels that could save lives, tributes to Mae West and badges from the V&A museum ...

There is literally something for anyone and everyone. The etymology behind the word April comes from the verb aperire, which means “to open”. It’s commonly believed that the word refers to the season of trees and flowers begin to “open” or bloom. We hope when you open the pages of Issue 16 of Le Document you will also open your minds and hearts.

Finally, we would like to say a big thank you to all our contributors and as the easing of lockdown begins we remind you all to stay safe and take care as the summer unfolds.

Lots of love from
Harry & Chris at Le Document
