Portraits for NHS Heroes by Julie Bennett

Portraits for NHS Heroes by Julie Bennett

Tuesday, 23 March 2021 commemorates the anniversary of the first Covid-19 national lockdown in the UK and will be a National Day of Reflection. During this lockdown in 2020, Julie Bennett volunteered to paint portraits of frontline NHS workers as part of Tom Croft’s social media project #portraitsfornhsheroes. To mark the completion of Julie Bennett’s series of #portraitsfornhsheroes paintings and in appreciation of the healthcare workers who have worked tirelessly during the pandemic, she has produced a tea towel to help raise funds for the Healthcare Workers’ Foundation.

The tea towel featuring her portraits is designed by the artist, and beautifully printed and made in the UK. This large tea towel will compliment any kitchen or can be hung as a piece of contemporary art (frame not included). Each tea towel is neatly presented within a designed belly band, signed by the artist.
