Marc Wiley loves her "wonderful" records, Blurt magazine say she's an artist whose "Urgent" and "Sexy". After hearing her re-working of Come On, Let's Go! Le Document also became instant fans of the French born / Ramsgate based, Marianne Dissard. 

I remember in the 80s that Los Lobos had a minor hit with this Richie Valens classic. Although their version was pleasant enough Dissard and her collaborators Raphael Mann and Terry Edwards have come up with something much more interesting. In the press release Mann and Dissard suggest their single is “A song about wanting to fuck someone during a pandemic.” I liked to think if Ritchie Valens heard what they’d done to his song he’d approve and that if enough people hear this new version it will be a hit.

Respect is due to Mr Mann for making a great YouTube video. The birds and bees really are what makes the world spin, and this little video says it so well. Enjoy!
