Le Doc: What's the best thing about Christmas?

Charlie: "I see Santa Claus."

Le Doc: Are you good in the kitchen?

Charlie: "Yes, I make pies. I make a shepherd's pie, a meat n tatie pie or a pork pie."

Le Doc: Who are your favourite comedians and who do you hope to watch on TV over Xmas?

Charlie: "The Marx brothers. I'm hoping to watch James Stewart in It's a Wonderful Life."

Le Doc: You once sang a song called "I Don't Like Dogs" do you also dislike reindeers?

Charlie: "I like dogs really and I like reindeer, especially them with a red nose."

Le Doc: Are you a generous man – which charities do you support?

Charlie: "Yes, I support different strokes."

Le Doc: In the 1990s you appeared in a video for 'Keep on Burning' by Edwyn Collins. What music do you most like to listen to and do you still play drums?

Charlie: "I like a good March with a beechy powder. I play drums in my dreams our Edie has put out a few of my drum lessons on Internet."

Le Doc: Who is the happiest person you know?

Charlie: "Santa Claus."

Le Doc: What's the punchline to your favourite joke?

Charlie: "Where am I?"

Le Doc: What are your hopes and fears for 2022?

Charlie: "My autobiography is coming out and my fear is Grandads wooden leg."

Le Doc: What is your idea of beauty in nature?

Charlie: "When I look In't mirror I see beauty with a cup o tea."

Le Doc: What part of the world brings you the most happiness?

Charie: "Yorkshire."
