Le Document — Issue Twelve

Dear Reader, thanks for being you. You rock. In the last issue of Le Document we mention that our friend, the artist and filmmaker Antonia Luxem needed financial help to fund her next film Dreaming X. We are delighted she reached the target and so she is now able to unlock the Arts Council England grant she received and produce the film early next year.

We are also pleased that the brilliant photographer Brian Griffin’s Autobiography (featured in Issue 11) has been launched successfully. Times are hard for a lot of people at the moment but there are still good things happening to good people.

Issue 12 features a Q & A with singer songwriter Wendy James. A lot of people who weren’t that taken with the band she fronted in the 80s are going to be pleasantly surprised by her new work – the girl done good.

Le Document has also made it’s first podcast interview, Chris Tosic and myself chatted via Zoom with Steve Gullick and James Johnston about their new album, We Travel Time.

Our artist of the month is the amazing Sasha Bowles. For the first time in Le Document’s history we have two animals sharing the “Pet of the Month” accolade. And, we have news of a brand new cartoon strip starting next year. We would like to thank all the people who have helped us make these 12 issues of Le Document.
